This is one of the first pictures I ever painted. It's the cover of a cd with songs and stories for children, about a little girl who has to relocate. In one of the songs she wants to go swimming and then it starts to rain. That gave me the idea for the wellingtons and the water wings. Because I couldn't find beautiful wellington boots, I took my own big ones and tried to imagine them sweet and small.
